HORSE TRAINING AT OUR RANCH
Tara Orlin offers training for your horse. Either if you want your horse to learn something special, or maybe you need help with a problem, you can send your horse to the ranch.

Guest horses usually live together in a big pasture with grass, trees and shelter. Maximum four horses together. It is possible for your horse to have its own paddock.

The ranch has a stable with four boxes. If the weather is bad for a longer period of time, horses on the ranch will rotate on spending either the day or the night in the stable.
We can adjust the arrangements to your wishes. If you want your horse to be stabled each night, and stay outside during the day, that will of course be okey. We understand that sending your precious horse to someone else can be scary, and we can assure you that all horses- our own and guest horses, are treated equally as family members. It is important for us that the horses staying here feel happy and comfortable and that all their needs are tended to.

The ranch has big pastures which are also used for riding. There is a roundpen and a 20x40 indoor arena (will be finished Mai 2024)
Bitless- and tackless training
Tara teaches your horse how to be ridden bitless- or- and tackless. Includes teaching the horse collection and how to be ridden from the riders seat.

The art of bitless riding teaches the horse to be relaxed, but still aware and responsive to small aids.
Bits can cause a lot of stress and stiffness. Bitless does the opposite.
Price is 18 000 kr +mva for 1 month
Includes hay (bring your own grain)
Colt starting / Green horses
Tara teaches your horse to be ridden. This will be done in a very safe and relaxing way. Tara always builds a connection- and trust from the ground first, and only ride the horse when the horse is ready. All the training on the ranch is done bitless or tackless.
After 1 month your horse will be rideable in walk, trot and canter.
Price is 18 000 kr +mva for 1 month
Includes hay (bring your own grain)
Rehabilitation / Rescue
Do you have a special case horse? A horse you are worried can never be ridden or maybe the horse has become aggressive and dangerous? Maybe the situation has become so bad that you would actually not like to have the horse anymore?
