About the method

TRUST IS KEY

We want the horse to feel like our partner and a friend. When horses feel like you understand them, and listen to them, they will lower their guard and let you in on a deeper level.
When the training is also rewarding for the horse and something they look forward in doing, they will happily take initiative and connect with you.​

With a variety of: riding, groundwork, liberty and tricks, you will keep the training days interesting and fun and show the horse that you want to build a relationship, where both you and the horse can florish.
About the
​
BITLESS RIDING
​​
The riding is inspired by western and the Spanish art of riding, Doma vaquera.
​
The unique thing about Doma Vaquera is that it is like a mix of dressage and western - the best of both worlds.
The horse learns to be athletic and strong, and keep a collection on loose and soft reins. You will be able to sit relaxed in the saddle, riding with one hand if you want, and have a horse that is ready to respond to your cues.
​
You will start with learning how to use your body to give cues, how to stop without using reins and how to teach the horse collection, stretching and bending.​ You will learn how to control and communicate about each part of the horse: the head/neck, front legs, hind legs, move forward, backwards, lateral and sideways, in walk, trot and canter.
